British Cider Competition '24

BRITISH CIDER COMPETITION '24

We entered 3 ciders this year and all came away with an award.

1. NO DIVISIONS 

bottle conditioned Perry, blended from all the classic like moorcraft, blakeney red, gin and thorn again from the 2021 harvest. This is our first Perry we have ever made

Judges comments were “Good carbonation. Little pink hue, bright. residiual sugar. Nice fruit underneath.”

Artwork was this time a colab between us and @stlegercollabo of @stlegersamuel / @splendideditions and @onionmilk

2. CAUGHT ADRIFT

A dabinett Sv from, currently, the 2021 harvest. This is truly my favourite apple and when I get it right, it’s a marvel!

Judges comments were “great colour, quite moorish”
Short and to the point. This is quite crushable at 6% and Heralded as modern classic by Dan @theciderbox

As per the artwork is on point from @ciwo.tattooart and the label graphics from @jasonbs1 @fiasco_design

3. Raspberry Cider 

This is for a cider that might never see the light of day, it was just some fun to see if I could make a fruit cider!

Judges comments were “Subtle, real raspberry aroma. distinctly raspberry”

@bristolsyrupco raspberry shrub was used to add the raspberry element, which was blended with a full bitter sweet cider apples.
